Should be trying to update this more. I'll be posting 3D models and some pixel art I think. I've started on an album of dance music, very much not in the VGM style. I just like to move.

I was super sad to hear about the passing of another Detroit techno founder, but even sadder that I didn't find out until today, when the news first broke a week ago. Detroit does not treat the founders of techno with the respect they deserve.

It's been a couple days, haven't had much to say. Playing Pokemon Go a lot more lately, loving getting some fresh air and sun. I've also started on a new game project, a little rhythm game for the Playdate. I'l probably post builds of it here, idk if it's worth putting up on itch.

As for music, I've been on the new Orquesta Akokan album, America! It's mambo, it's everything it needs to be, it makes you want to move your body. The employees in the shop still find my "world" music to be too much, I hope to eventually turn them aroud.

Update

I'm going to try and post something every day, or at least when I remember. It has been a long time since I had a proper try at HTML, so expect this site to break a lot. So far, so good.

Not much in the way of updates. I uploaded a few things and linked to some other things I've done. I'll start adding more as I decide what my backlog of projects really represents.

Oh, I'm playing Phantasy Star IV again. Can't believe this game gets better every time I play it.

Listening

I wanted my first post to be something meaningful, so I decided to spill some thoughts on what I'm listening to right now.

I love J Dilla's Donuts more than most people love most things. At this point I can't think of a time in my life without it, and I don't think there will be a time in my future without it.

I don't have anything new to say about it. It has been talked about by anyone and everyone who could put better words to it, but if you ever ask me what I'm listening to today, chances are a song from Donuts will be the answer.
